And when he is exonerated?

to take pleasure in anyones misfortune is not a kind trait, You are kinder to criminals and terrorist than you are to conservatives dabe, do you not think that something about that is out of kilter?
on Sep 29, 2005
What the flip makes you think I'm kinder to criminals and terrorists? Only a flinking repuke would make a statement like this. Empty, moronic and boinking ridiculous.
on Sep 29, 2005
And, why are you so sure he'll be exonerated? I'm just happy for now that the repuke has been forced to step down.

I wonder Miss Dabe, how many liberal democrats are cheering on the outside, but fearing for more investigations on the inside. Do you really think DeLay is alone in this kind of activity (if in fact he's guilty).

I know for a fact that many of the democrats here in Wisconsin (Feingold included) owe their jobs to voter fraud.. I wonder how many others' owe their positions to the same criminal behavior that they work so hard to perpetuate.

In other words... don't celebrate others' misfortune unless you are sure your side is innocent.

I now return you to your celebration already in progress.... ;~D

why are you being angry with me?

Mod, I'm not angry with you. Think about it. You accuse me of being kinder to criminals and terrorists. What about that statement would make you think I'd want to have you as my friend? You insulted me with empty know-nothing, standard republican hyperbolic rhetorical nonsense. I'm not angy. If that is an example of what you consider to be "nice", why should I even like you?

Glad there is something that makes you happy, dabe, even if it is simple ghoulish delight. I was beginning to wonder.

Finding a way to force DeLay to step down was the whole point of Mr. Earle's exercise, after all.

Cheers,
Daiwa

boinking ridiculous

Dabe, please quit trying to replace your patented foul language with kinder, gentler "colorful methaphors". It's making you sound even stupider than you usually sound. You sound like a Three Stooges short.
How about just simply making your point without going ghetto and trying for the street creds? Others do it, and it works pretty well for them.
Give it the old college try, huh?

Nothing makes you happy, dabe, unless it somehow vindicates your narrow perspective and brings problems and misery to the legions you hate. You are the Mr. Wilson of JU.

And I have a question....when is Nancy Pelosi going to be indicted for the SAME THING? She won't, because the dems give a free pass to their own for their transgressions. The ole Double Standard trick again.

Want to bet on it?  You name the stakes.  And when he is exonerated, will you eat crow?

10 reasons why Tom DeLay should resign from Congress

1. Tom DeLay violates ethics rules at will, making him a national embarrassment. Indeed, he has earned four formal ethics violations, a truly rare achievement, as only five Members of Congress have been chastised by the committee in the last six years.

2. Tom DeLay embodies the worst of pay-to-play politics – he puts big donors like Enron ahead of the rest of us.

3. Tom DeLay abuses his position as House Majority Leader to trample on the legislative process and stretches the rules of campaign fundraising far as he can.

4. Tom DeLay accepted travel expenses from a registered foreign agent, in apparent violation of House rules.

5. Tom DeLay used illegal corporate contributions to disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of Texas voters with his anti-democratic re-districting scheme.

6. Tom DeLay uses tax dollars and government resources for partisan political gain.

7. Tom DeLay opposes any reasonable campaign finance laws, even disclosure of donations.

8. Tom DeLay shakes down small business owners for campaign contributions.

9. Tom DeLay received all expenses-paid junket from a lobbyist accused of bilking tens of millions of dollars from six Native American tribes.

10. Tom DeLay believes he is above the law.

Not without proof, and that is sadly lacking in all the allegations.  You cant convict someone in this country of a crime for the sole reason you dont like him.

My Offer still stands.

Tom DeLay believes he is above the law.

This is just the opinon of one of the most partisan posters we have here, and one of the most unreasonably rabid and angry liberals I've ever had the misfortune of encountering.
If this were the case, there would be less Democrats in the House and Senate than Republicans. For example, Ted Kennedy is a murderer, but because of his family connections and his position is somehow above the law. As I indicated above, Nancy Pelosi is guilty of the exact same "crimes" that she was berating Delay for yesterday, but somehow is given a pass for her indiscretions.

The more I hear, the more convinced I become that the Courts and Justice system are being used as a hammer against "The Hammer", which is so low and despicable on he part of the left that it's becoming ever clearer just ho desperate they are for any small victory against us, no matter how underhanded.

After all, Delay's name is not even actually mentioned in the indictment, except as a defendant. When all is said and done, Delay's not going anywhere.

dabe I doubt we will ever be friends, we are just to different.

In more than one article I saw youdefending the "rights" of terror suspects, why are you not affording the same rights to DeLay? whatever happened to innocent till PROOVEN guilty?

I am hoping for some coutesy between us dabe, we have the chance to show people that 2 people from completely differing backgrounds and politics can have intelligent discourse without mud slinging. ok?
