I've not posted anything here for some time, since I was banished to my own blog. Why bother? In fact, I get the feeling that I'm supposed to come crawling to the site administrators to beg their forgiveness and please, oh please allow me to enter the forums again. I'm kind of adverse to doing that, and this is why........
I do not feel any modicum of contrition for my behavior. Sure, I took profanity over the top and I resorted to some degree of name-calling. But, I was warned, and I promised to be "good". But, I continued to post my beliefs, much to the apparent dismay of one drmiler, who was hell-bent on getting me banished. In fact, he proclaims to have saved all my posts, from the beginning, to use against me in order to accomplish said banishment. If that's not compulsive, then nothing is. But, I have to ask......... do you, drmiler, save posts of the nasty, abrasive, abusive individuals who happen to fall on the right side of the political aisle? Probably not. Because, in fact, you do not give a damned about swearing or name-calling at all. That's just your tool. In fact, you just hate anything liberal.
Along comes this new poster, posting very liberal stuff, and whom I happen to like alot. Immediately, drmiler is all over him, and guess what? He's now saving that poster's postings to use against him, so that eventually poor zinkadoodle will make a minor slip and drmiler, the self-proclaimed ju hall monitor, will beligerently, like a good rightie soldier, get him also banished. If that's not compulsive, then nothing is.

To which zinkadoodle replied, on the same link:
"You didn't insult me. You insulted Bahu, calling him "ignorant" for his point of view on the Iraq debaucle. You have yet to make any kind of point regarding his post, other than insulting him and responding to me pointing out your bad habit of insulting people with whom you do not agree." (From what I have seen, zinkadoodle is right on, and this is really indicative of drmiler's pattern of responses. He's just abusive.

Zinkadoodle comes to the Col's defense, and to which drmiler pipes in, rather profanely:

To which zinkadoodle reponds accordingly:
"OK I'll play your game. Go away and STFU, if you don't have any information to dispute my contentions." I see a pattern here.........
See, what I've learned from all of this is that you have couch your insults in a manner that somehow fits the TOS, even if the insults are the same. For instance, drmiler points out that he "asked" if it's ok to use the term "bs", to which he tells us that it is an approved insult. Same with STFU. However, coming right out and saying "bullshit" or "shut the fuck up" will get you banished. You cannot call someone an arrogant idiot, but you can say their posting is "arrogant idiocy". Hmmmmmmmm.................. a lesson that I, unfortunately, was a little slow to learn. Insults and profanities are OK as long as they are aptly tailored.
Sure, I lashed out at little whip when she posted that "cookie scandal" nonsense. I was new here, and I was stunned by the article. People are dying daily, and she posted about a cookie contestant's moral values. However, I have since apologized, but that fell on deaf ears, or blind eyes, or whatever. It seems that I was banished for some of my earlier posts, wherein drmiler created a case against me, as a pattern of my blogging life. I was guilty. Which therefore, in his rightie world, means guilty forever.
I refuse to express any kind of contrition. I contend that since being warned, I did not do anything that any one else did not do. Abuse abounds bigtime at ju, but apparently it's only tolerated by righties, including the right-leaning moderators who buy into the likes of drmiler's hall-monitoring nonsense. I have been following zinkadoodle's posts. He's been extremely benign in his responses, in that name-calling and profanities are pretty much absent from his posts. But, given enough time, and given enough pushing and abuse by the likes of drmiler or bakerstreet or drguy, he'll likely post something "off color" and drmiler will rise to the occasion, as the good soldier he is (not).
I feel no contrition. I only regret that I screwed up in my early postings. I am angry that ju buys into the discrimination of left leaning posters here. If I am allowed back into the world of ju forums, I'll watch my tongue (fingers). I'll play by the skewed rules that liberals beware. Maybe it will give me the sharp edge that Myrrander and Kingbee have acquired, maybe by posting here. My hat's off to you guys. You've behaved admirably.
So, now that I have learned my lesson, will the ju admins allow me back? I'd sure like to know which specific post put my behavior over the top. No one ever told me.
