Keep pulling for those terrorists Dabe. Your "Freedom Fighters" are really helping out those Iraqis with all they need!

dabe, war means death, how about posting the 3000 dead from the wtc sept 9th, more people died there than in this war so far.

but those dead don't seem to mean much to her....they go AGAINST her agenda

I think the cartoon is making fun of Bush's claim, not our soldiers.

How about the 100000ish dead Iraqis, not just the 2000ish dead Americans?

Bah, everyone picks and chooses with their dead to justify anything.

and I really don't feel like getting into a body count fight right now...

I guess the death of 100,000 Iraqis and others aside from American troops is meaningless to you, huh? Why am I not surprised?

I am not pulling for terrorists. That's fucking bullshit. Obviously, you don't give a good god damn about the lives of the service men and women and the Iraqis dying by the thousands. Otherwise, you'd see what a horrific folly the war is, and what a jerk and a criminal dubya is. In fact, all those deaths and all that war is only playing right into the terrorists hands. Our invasion of Iraq solved nothing, made no one safer, and killed thousands. Yeah, great. Really quality war goin' on there. Your freedom fighters are accomplishing fucking nothing.

dabe? that was a cruel comment and totally unessary.

The deaths of our troops matter to me a whole lot, after all I use to be one of them.

Death in the rest of the world has little or no impact on me dabe, to much of that happens everyday.

so, Dabe...i guess what you are saying....is this:

It is "ok" for George W. Bush to find you, rape you, kill your loved ones, cut off your hands and feet....and bury you and your family in mass graves?

In America 125 people died today for the simple act of driving from point A to point B. When are you going to start protesting the senseless slaughter of Americans on our roadways? Or don't those deaths count? Do you still drive?

WE NEED TO GET AMERICA OUT OF THE ROADWAYS!!!
on Oct 15, 2005
How many of the people who died in all the wars, riots, fights, skirmishes and uprisings shouldn't have died creating and maintaining your freedom to speak out against your government? It took a whole lot more than 100,000 deaths to accomplish that for you.

Today the people of Iraq are voting in a Constitutional Referendum. A reality that wasn't more than a pipedream for the people of Iraq just 3 years ago. Each time you exercise your rights, think of all the people who died (both American and otherwise) were wounded or had their life altered forever in the name of your freedom. Then ask yourself why the people of Iraq deserve that right any less.

Yes, we should be mourning the loss of life war inflicts... but not at the expense of celebrating the new freedom their blood has purchased. To do any less is to cheapen their sacrifice and to resent the freedom we (all too often) take for granted.

All I can say, ted, is your comparison is specious, stupid, and ridiculous.

Oh really? 125 people died on the highway today... you didn't care enough to write an article about them. Why should I all of the sudden think death matters to you when they happen in Iraq? If a news flash came on your TV showing a massive pile up of cars with many deaths, then would you care? If it turned out the accident was caused by a drunk driver, would you care enough to write an article? If it turned out that Prs. Bush was the drunk driver.... Yeah, then you would care. Why? Because the only time you care about deaths is when the press tells you to care.
