CBS Poll
Published on October 7, 2005 By dabe In Politics
Seems that according to CBS, dubya dumbass' ratings are hitting new lows. Before you all get all wadded up that polls are meaningless, I'm sure that if it was the other way around, you'd be posting the results every freakin' day. So please, spare me the hypocrisy. In fact, the neocon loving hypocrites are a distinct minority in this country now. About goddamm time. Some people are just a little slower to see what's right before their faces than others.

Some poll results:

DIRECTION OF THE COUNTRY
Right Direction : 28%
Wrong Track: 69%

PRESIDENT BUSH'S JOB APPROVAL
Approve: 37% all respondents
Disapprove: 58% all respondents

DOES PRES. BUSH SHARE YOUR PRIORITIES FOR THE COUNTRY?
Yes: 32%
No: 65%

Those are the first questions. There are quite a few more at the site. dumbya is tanking and the country isn't buying into his shit anymore, except a few die-hards, and repubs who are hanging on to some failed agenda that clearly ain't workin'. Our neocon boy is in trouble.

Forums too boring for you lately, huh Drag?

"Idiot" would seem a bit over the top, though I can understand your frustration. Lot of folks disappointed with the pick, but there's a lot he's done right.

I think it is pretty clear he is an idiot when he thinks God has told him to go and blow up thousands of people. If God talks to anyone he wouldn't talk to a politician and he wouldn't tell them to go and raize a country to the ground.

Did you check out the rebuttal showing that was just a fantasy?

No, you are not that smart.

"No, you are not that smart."

I'm not the one who mindlessly follows everything the White House claims. They wouldn't have bothered to respond to it if was cooked up by some crackpots. It comes directly from Abbas. But I suppose he's just another crazy "liberal".

The recent denial is no more credible than the usual denials any criminal makes even when it is blatantly obvious he is guilty. With all of Bush's religious rhetoric i.e. 'good vs evil', the War on Terror being a "Crusade", would any logical person put that statement past him? Your the stupid one for believing everything a White House in hot water tells then public.

"it means he does not care about Polls. He is not Bill Clinton."

You act like that's a good thing. I guess public opinion doesn't matter after election day?
on Oct 08, 2005
Glad he is yours too. But you still fail to realize that he cannot run for President again.
---DrGuy

Yeah, and no matter how many times you point that out, they just don't get it.

You don’t have to like him to vote for him, especially with what the Democrats have to offer.
---Lee1776

True...I voted for Slick Willie in '96, but only because I thought Dole was too old. I said before that I wasn't happy when he won.

Here is the problem I have with things like this article, dabe you take such absolute joy in the failing of OUR president, I just do not get your point, Bush cannot be re-elceted and you are stuck with him for the next 3 plus years yep count em 3 that's THREE, two plus one=three, three get it yet?

Why take such pleasure in this?

It has become you are not happy unless you get to A. slam Bush. B.slam the right. C. slam anyone that is not liberal.

I would just love to see you write an article about how you think, your, day how it went, if you are dating, I know next to nothing about you except you do landscape for a living and hate the right.

It would be interesting to learn more about our community members.

Maybe a personal blog from each? Perhaps it would shed more light on why we each feel / think the way that we do instead of us simply slamming on each other because of the views we present.

Draginol:
What is really sad is that given how pathetic Bush is, the Democrats couldn't muster anyone better.

Can't say I disagree.

Daiwa:

Yeah, like what? And, don't tell me that invading Iraq was right. It was stupid, criminal, lying, and completely without any sense of real purpose or compassion for those who's lives were, and are being destroyed on both sides. If it's about fighting terror, forget that, too. We're worse off now, than before the invasion. Fact is, I cannot think of a single freakin' thing that moron has done that is "right".

Julian Roberts"
Your the stupid one for believing everything a White House in hot water tells then public.

"Stupid" is an understatement.

moderateman:

It's not that I take joy in the follies of the bushies. I really hate the entire neocon deathcult morons running this country. It's hard to take joy in sitting back and watching these assholes muck up the government so completely because they are too wrapped up in their selfishness, cronyism, lying and pilfering, and conflicts of interest. All I want is for these creeps to go away, so that government can be returned to one "of the people, for the people, and by the people." You're right in that I take pleasure in watching their poll numbers tank.

MM, again:
I would just love to see you write an article about how you think, your, day how it went, if you are dating, I know next to nothing about you except you do landscape for a living and hate the right.

Well, if you think I'm about to share my life with those who seem to get great joy out of ridiculing me, you're out of your mind. Fact is, I don't share my life with rightie racists, who go around trashing people at every opportunity. I don't share my life with sicko psychotic bitches. I don't share my life with the likes of .............. never mind. But, I do share my life with people who I care about. I do it with people from this site, believe it or not, and I do it in private emails. But, JU is not the forum wherein I'd choose to share my life. And, just to set the record straight, I don't "do landscape". I am a landscape architect by profession and license, but work now as a community and coastal planner.

And, your are wrong about me hating the right. I do not hate conservatives. I DO hate morons who buy into this evil neocon administration, regardless of their stupid follies and foibles, and regardless of their stupid crony appointments. I hate blind patriots and jingos, which is what I see here at JU, except a few conservatives who at least have the common sense to see this administration for the idiots they are, even though we may not agree on some fiscal or social policies.

You are the one that blames everything, including the cruxifiction of Christ, on Bush. As it is evident you have not read my responses, I know you are not talking about me.

Not if he is keeping his promises. That is more important than the shifting sands of public opinion.

I think many of us have been blogging here for at least a year or so now (at least the parties involved). It would be nice to at least have some personal explanation behind our reasons why we support / do not support certain aspects.

Wouldn't it be a bit of tragedy should we talk and argue for more then a year and not understand why each of us don't agree with what the other is saying?

Well, he did it, didn't he?

I know you are not talking about me.

Oh, but I am talking about you.

As if you'd buy anything. Waste of time.

"Well, he did it, didn't he? "

That was the Jews.

"As it is evident you have not read my responses, I know you are not talking about me."

I am talking about you, Tony Blair and Bush prayed together at Camp David in 2002 before deciding to invade Iraq and now Bush is claiming God told him to start two wars (which I find offensive as a Christian). Bush is a bumbling idiot, the mighty dollar and family influence made him President, a position he does not deserve.
