"I Have A Dream" By Martin Luther King, Jr. Delivered on the steps at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. on August 28, 1963 .... Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed. Let us not wallow in the valley of despair. I say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment, I stil...

Question: Is Dick Cheney Dead? Monday 5th September 2005 Missing VP raises health questions again by Greg Lloyd Smith WASHINGTON, D.C. -- (OfficialWire) -- 09/05/05 -- Is it just me or is someone missing? Thinking out loud, has anyone noticed that U.S. Vice-President Dick Cheney has not been heard from recently? Oh, I know, he’s on vacation, but no interviews, no photo-ops, nothing. I would have thought that we should have heard his take on the recent debacle in New Orleans or a...

Myrrander first mentioned this Alaskan bridge pork barrel some time ago. In another blogsite, which I shall not make known, it was just brought up again. When are people going to wake up to the absolute criminal activities of this administration. It's a government gone awry, completely. It starts: How can you have $250 Million dollars for a bridge in Alaska that services 2000 people and you can't complete a levee project in NO to protect the people and infrastructure of one of the...

I am angry. It seems that when our dubya administration outsources stuff, they can stand back and deny any culpability when the contractor fails. Well, they failed bigtime, just like they are failing in Iraq. Seems they are really good at taking the government money, but when it comes time to show any progress, they are no where to be found. And the money goes missing. I'll be following this story, as I work fairly closely with URS Corporation, as they are Corps of Engineers contractors ...

The south is going to hell in a handbasket, and this is what dick is doing. Shouldn't he be ...... like ....... helping the southern tragedy? This kind of speaks for itself. I guess he views the disaster as some kind of financial opportunity..... for himself. Oh wait....... Didn't Halliburton already get the contract to repair the navy yards and oil refineries? Yeah, I guess his work on the disaster is done. Cheney to host Talent fundraiser Published Thursday, September 1, 200...

I am not going to add anything to this, as it really does say it all. The only thing I did was bold some text in the first line, because it's all that good. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THIS SAYS IT ALL: Sometimes an emailer says it better than I ever could. Read this. Read all of it. You know why I endorsed Kerry last time? Not because I liked Kerry or ever dreamed of backing him. I'm not a liberal. I'm not a Bush-hater. I backed the war. Initially, I trusted and supp...

According to this article in the Washington Times, a report has been delivered to Congress this week that discusses the CIA failures to develop a strategy against Al Qaeda and the run-up to 9/11. The article writer describes it as "scathing", and to which George Tenet has come out as refusing to be the White House fall guy to protect Bush and company. Per the article, "Mr. Tenet's response to the report is a 20-page, tightly knitted rebuttal of responsibility prepared with the aid of a lawy...

Today on Good Morning America, Diane Sawyer asked Bush why he wasn't better prepared for the Louisiana catastrophe considering they KNEW in advance that a huge hurricane was coming. His response "Well, no one could have anticipated a breach in the levees." Of course, Ms. Sawyer didn't press him any further on the point. That's such an appauling answer. Of course they new. They just chose to not fund it. It was a catastrophe waiting to happen, and frankly, it's this administration's j...
Bill Moyer, 73, wears a "Bullshit Protector" flap over his ear while President George W. Bush addresses the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
When you look at the chart, and you consider that they got a no-bid contract to clean up the mess prior to the mess and anticipation of the mess, it's hard not to question the motives. Particularly when the VP is so heavily vested in Halliburton. He set up the who fucking scam, after all. There really ought to be a law against profitting from war. Most profits should be put into accounts to pay for war reparations. If that was the case, then not many people would want to participate, and...
