ObjectBar is one of my favorite customizations. It's clean, fast, and hugely useful. But, since I got my new computer, I haven't reinstalled it. I'm waiting for the much-anticipated release of the upgrade. Any ideas when this is going to happen? Should I install the beta? Has it progressed from the confusing mess when it was originally updated to the new beta version. Inquiring minds............ TIA
First of all, this is a response to minisculeman's request to find out why people use their blacklist, and particularly a request to me, I believe, about why I have him blacklisted. Then, it turned into yet another dabe hatefest, because I didn't reply to his repeated requests to answer. Well, fer cryin' out loud, the moron had me blacklisted . I couldn't reply. Was it a freaking setup to trash me? Or else, was he just to moronic to figure it out? I venture the later to be the more a...

This is a repost, because I deleted my previous article. Apparently there is a bug in the featured articles that allows sickos like mod and dr to pollute others posts. Sorry that I also deleted all the replies, but such if life. (Please, draginol, do not feature any of my artilces until that bug is fixed. Thank you in advance.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Much to my surprise, and for reasons I just don't understand, I was able to post to moderateman's blog. I was reponding to his hyp...

Just so you know, I am not able to add comments to anyone's articles, including my own, because of some glitch I'm having. In fact, I can only comment on featured articles. It's frustrating, for sure, but I'm not going to worry about it. I'm getting my new computer tomorrow, and when I set up everything anew, it should all work fine. Then, I'll be back to commenting away, using my left wing twist, of course.

Imagine the media explosion if a male escort had been discovered operating as a correspondent in the Clinton White House. Imagine that he was paid by an outfit owned by Arkansas Democrats and had been trained in journalism by James Carville. Imagine that this gentleman had been cultivated and called upon by Mike McCurry or Joe Lockhart—or by President Clinton himself. Imagine that this "journalist" had smeared a Republican Presidential candidate and had previously claimed access to classified...

I didn't write this. I do not know who did. But, I got it in my email yesterday, and felt rather inclined to post it here. I think it's funny. Some will like it, too. Others may dislike it. Hell, it may even make some of you angry. Hehehehehehe......... Dear President Bush: Congratulations on your victory over all us non-evangelicals. Actually, we're a bit ticked-off here in New York, so we're leaving. New York will now be its own country and we're taking all the Blue Stat...
Another example of Dubya trying to dismantle this country one issue at a time. This is one of those issue. Following are additional links regarding the SS privatization fiasco. Please don't let this happen. It is disastrous social policy that will only accomplish one thing: Make money for the stockbrokers, hand over fist. * Privatizing Social Security will not mean more money for you. Privatization will cut benefits by 30 percent even for workers who don't choose to have private ac...
Would you vote in Iraq, given that you'd be taking your life in your hands if you tried? Would you even know who you'd be voting for? What about where to vote? These are questions that Iraqis are facing with regard to the "elections" on Sunday. In this article from Speigel, a German website, you'll find some interesting info that our mainstream media won't print. Like the burning truth. First of all, "Meanwhile, many Iraqis say they are not only too scared to vote, but know little ...
I have seen this less than affectionate description of left-leaning individuals here at JU, and admittedly, I did not know what a luddite is. So, off I went to OneLook Link my online dictionary of choice to look up the word. Following is the definition I found: Lud·dite (plural Lud·dites) noun 1. opponent of new technology: somebody who opposes technological or industrial innovation 2. history 19thC protester against technology: a worker involved in protests in Britain in the 1...
To the assholes who think that "discomfort" is what we are inflicting upon "enemy combatants", who by the way are predominantly innocent and are never charged, take a look at this site Link I'm posting this because I have read so much disgusting rationalizations for abuse and torture and I find it absolutely abhorent that people think like this. A few examples: Being attacked by dogs does not constitute torture? Having to stand in awkward, stressful and painful positions chained to ...
Although no one is expecting the elections to be overturned, and that is NOT the purpose of the debate. It's to discuss, and hopefully fix the problems that developed during the elections in Ohio and elsewere. Some of these problems include not enough voting machines in minority districts, faulty machines, improper registrations, and certainly not least, the fact that the person overseeing the Ohio elections was/is the person who headed up the Bush reelection campaign. This, in and of itse...

Even though I just posted a plea to stop the liberal bashing and insults, I have to get this last dig in. It's from the Evil GOP Bastards website. Screw all you GOPers. Since the New Deal, Republicans have been on the wrong side of every issue of concern to ordinary Americans; Social Security, the war in Vietnam, equal rights, civil liberties, church- state separation, consumer issues, public education, reproductive freedom, national health care, labor issues, gun policy, campaign-fina...

................Could Fund Health Care for All This is an interesting report written by Jobs with Justice in collaboration with others to "send a message to politicians and employers demanding health care reforms that would expand and improve Medicare -type coverage for all rather than undermine or privatize existing programs." As I've written on numerous occassions, I am a socialist/capitalist at heart. I believe in free market economy where appropriate, but without corporate abuse of...

Jobs with Justice held a poll to vote for the Grinch of the Year, which I guess they do every year. This year's hands down winner is none other than Wal-mart. Runners up include Comcast and Cintas. Link Grinch finalists It's sad that some mega corporations with CEO's earning millions find the need to make more and more money off the backs of their employees, the very individuals reponsible for their wealth. I haven't shopped at Wal-mart for years, mostly because it's not conveni...
